Activity. Nr. 7, “CHROMIC-E4EE“:Independent research and development

Anotation: The aim of the activity was the research of methods, means and processes for effective material recovery of slags in order to reuse the resulting products in the steel industry or in other industries. Another R&D activity was focused on obtaining metals by hydrometallurgical processing through acid leaching from various types of steelmaking slag. The researched process based on acid leaching is a complementary research to the supporting project CHROMIC, which deals only with alkaline leaching of slags.
