Anotation: The project is focused on the study of two types of waste generated in the hot-dip galvanizing process, namely zinc fly ash and the residue after thermo-mechanical processing of zinc ash. Zinc drift is captured in the filtration system of zinc plants and is categorized as hazardous waste. The benefit of the project will be the management and application of the hydrometallurgical process of processing the mentioned wastes with the aim of their recovery.
