Anotation: The aim of the project is the development of technologies for material recycling of used lithium batteries, which represent a valuable secondary raw material. The experimental study will focus on investigating the conditions for recovery of products from leach solutions after processing various types of lithium battery recycling intermediates. The project will investigate various methods for the extraction of lithium, cobalt and nickel compounds from solutions, focusing on process efficiency and selectivity and the purity of the obtained products. The choice of investigated methods will be influenced by the composition of solutions after leaching and a significant part will represent the refining of solutions after leaching, which will affect the quality of the final products. The resulting recycling process will consist of several methods such as precipitation, cementation, crystallization, liquid extraction, sorption and others.
